In just 3 days, you'll drive through the High Atlas Mountains, visit the ancient fortress of Aït Ben Haddou, cross the Valley of Roses, and arrive at the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. You'll ride a camel into the golden dunes at sunset, spend the night under a blanket of stars at a traditional desert camp, and wake up to watch the sunrise paint the Sahara in amber and rose.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Merzouga
Departure: We pick you up from your Marrakech hotel early morning (7:00 AM).
Drive south through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m), stopping for photos at scenic viewpoints. Continue to Aït Ben Haddou — the 11th-century UNESCO World Heritage ksar, famous as a film set for Game of Thrones and Gladiator. Explore at your own pace.
Continue through Ouarzazate ("the Hollywood of Africa"), pass through the Draa Valley with its stunning palm oasis, and arrive in Merzouga by evening. Check into your riad and rest before the big day tomorrow.

Day 2
Merzouga · Camel Trek · Desert Camp · Stargazing
After breakfast, explore the local Berber village of Merzouga with your guide. Visit nomad families, a fossil workshop, and the Gnawa musicians' village.
In the late afternoon, mount your camel at the edge of Erg Chebbi and ride into the golden dunes as the sun sets. Watch the Sahara transform into shades of orange and crimson.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp for a traditional Moroccan dinner with live Berber music around the campfire. Sleep in a comfortable private tent with real beds, and fall asleep under the Milky Way — no light pollution for hundreds of kilometers.

Day 3
Sunrise → Todra Gorge → Marrakech
Wake before dawn to climb the dunes and watch the Sahara sunrise — arguably the most photographed moment of any Morocco trip. Return to camp for breakfast.
Drive north through the Todra Gorge — 300-metre sheer rock walls with a river running between them. Stop for a walk through the gorge.
Continue through Ouarzazate and the High Atlas, arriving back in Marrakech in the evening (approximately 7:00–8:00 PM). Drop-off at your hotel.
